We will do a consultation with you, and we'll look at x-rays, 3D models, and even photos so that we can see how your teeth have progressed over the years. We'll examine your mouth, and focus on your jaw, how your bite pattern looks, and your teeth. We'll check your tooth spacing, and look to see if teeth are overcrowded. Once we take a really good look at your mouth, if we think that you will need orthodontic treatment, we'll develop a treatment plan for you. Our treatment plan will plot out your needs, and approximately how long it will take to treat your mouth. We may be able to offer you a lot of suggestions for how to address your problem. We might suggest dental appliances, braces, aligners, or other methods for fixing your mouth. However, orthodontia is not just about how teeth look cosmetically. It is also about making sure your mouth works appropriately.
